It's hard to believe that this topic is worth discussing. But, it's here so I'll share my thoughts. "Blade Runner 2049" is my favorite science-fiction film. It's a work of art because of its stunning visuals and the complex themes of artificial Intelligence. Ex Machina deserves recognition for its insightful portrayal AI and the human experience. We can't forget "Arrival" with its unique view of time and communication. Of course, the classics like "Alien" and "The Matrix" are amazing too, but these more recent films show that the genre is still evolving and pushing boundaries. Science fiction might be entertainment for some but it is so much more to me. It challenges our perceptions of the world and encourages us to think differently. This is why I love it so very much.
